Hydrex specialises in the short term rental, contract rental and sale of mobile plant and equipment within the rail, industrial, extraction and construction industries. The business is divided into divisions which are supported by a national network of depots, each with a team of dedicated mobile service engineers. Hydrex provides tailored solutions and typical services include specifying and supplying mobile plant, providing trained operators with the necessary licenses maintaining the equipment through a national depot network and ensuring compliance with all health and safety matters. Hydrex has a fleet of over 1,200 machines available from 13 depots nationwide and a total of over 800 employees.
Rehandling
Largely operating in longer term rental, the Materials Handling
Services Division specialises in the rental of wheeled loaders
and excavators for specific industrial applications, including
waste transfer stations, quarrying, sugar beet, metal recycling,
port handling and waste paper. Telescopic handlers, dump trucks,
landfill compactors and dozers are also available.
Rail
Hydrex currently owns the largest and most up to date fleet of
roadrail excavators and attachments in the UK. With an experienced
team of certificated rail managers and machine operators, Hydrex
is able to provide total support to Network Rail and its “Track
Renewal” companies as well as London Underground.
MTR Training
MTR Training is the UK’s premier specialist provider of training
for the rail industry, focusing on the areas of safety, signals
and telecoms, permanent way, on-track machines, road rail machines
and professional development.
Machine Sales
Hydrex is the sole dealer in the UK and Ireland for the Fuchs
range of rehandling excavators. The Machine Sales Division can
also source and supply new and used equipment including excavators,
dumptrucks, wheeled loaders, telehandlers, dozers and compactors.
Parts Sales
The Hydrex Parts Division specialises in the supply of excavator
parts for Fuchs, Hitachi, Fiat-Hitachi, Daewoo, Samsung, Case
and Komatsu machines. A one stop shop, Hydrex parts are on call
for immediate 24 hour delivery at the most competitive prices.
Duo
Hydrex has a working relationship with a leading supplier of
crushing, screening, and washing equipment providing customers
with a one stop shop package trading under the name DUO.
Self Drive
For those customers who specifically need to enjoy greater control
of their logistics and move materials quickly and efficiently
Hydrex now offers a self drive solution under the name of Gorrel
Trading.
